Wide complex moulding plane by Turner of Sheffield
This is a specialised plane used for making the complex shapes found in wooden mouldings. Features a bevel, ogee and fillet. 2 1/2" wide x 9 1/4" long slight damage to the boxwood quirk insert. Made by Turner of Sheffield, 1841-1868, with a Beech body. prrobably one for the collector although still usable.
