The John Rabone And Sons rule number 1462 is a very small caliper rule made from boxwood with brass fittings.

The boxwood rule is 3 inch long and is marked out in inches with 1/8 inch increments on the front side. The rear is marked out on one edge in inches with 1/16 inch increments.
