Hollows and Rounds - Routledge

A good original half set of even numbered hollow and rounds moulding planes made by Routledge of Birmingham.

18 Planes in total, 17 of them from an original set made by Routledge. The only one missing from the original set is the No 2 round which I have found a good replacement by Varvill, to complete the set.

Even numbered set, pairs of 2,4,6,8,10,12,14,16 and 18.

All in good clean condition, with normal wear and tear, dings to the wedges etc, to be expected after being in use for over 120 years!

Previous owners stamp (H Sandifer) marked in several places on each plane. Either very worried someone would steal his planes or liked to see his name from different angles!

Overall a good user set of planes.

Will need cleaning sharpening and honing to suit before being used.
