  • Five hand made socketed wood-carving chisels made in Malaysia in 1930's

  • Interesting set of 5 hand made  Malaysian  out-canal wood carving gouges
  • These are hand forged, socketed pattern
  • The striking tip has  what appears to be Rattan or Bamboo  woven collars for protection against mallet blows!
  • Came out of the kit of a chap who worked in Malaya in early 1930's and bought them there to start woodcarving as a hobby
  • sizes equate to 5, 7, 8, 10 & 12 m/m
  • Will need sharpening and honing to suit own needs
